I did make some changes and I was very happy with them. instead of boiling the squash and sweet potatoes in water I tossed them with 2 TBS of EVOO and roasted them in the oven for about 45 minutes till tender. to me this keeps all the vitamins from being lost in the boiling water and brings out the flavor of the veggies. I used my own turkey sausage so it was sugar free and topped it with some Fage yogurt and some no add sugar bacon. about half a piece. as far as my spices, I used garlic, tummeric, cinnamon, smoked paprika, pepper and sea salt.
